The couple will always be able to look at their maternity photos and recall the days leading up to the birth of their cherished kid.

And while each image of a pregnant lady is lovely in its own right, some are just more memorable than others…

Dad-to-be, Dan Mozer, 30, recommended that he and his wife take some shots at the neighboring Atlantic Beach in Jacksonville, Florida.

The beach is a favorite among locals and a well-liked location to unwind, promenade, and take pictures.

Dan requested his wife, Angelina, to take some photos with the water in the background when he suddenly got an idea.

He took a few photographs with his camera after picking it up.

Angelina proudly displayed her growing baby bump as she posed in front of the ocean waves while grinning widely.

But as soon as Dan noticed what was in the background, he knew he had captured the image of a lifetime.

What was it that appeared behind Angelina at the ideal time?

Dan was taking this shot when a dolphin jumped out of the water!

It wasn’t entirely unexpected for Dan because he was aware of the presence of dolphins nearby. But he never imagined that he would actually catch one jumping in the backdrop of a photo of his wife while she was expecting.

“When I took it, I was like, ‘Oh, my God!’ Unfortunately, she totally missed it,” Dan explained.

Dan and Angelina credit their son, Courtland, who was born on January 27th, for the picture. The couple joke that Courtland summoned the dolphin from his mother’s belly.

Dan explained to Yahoo a little more about how the amazing picture came about: “Someone started yelling to us that there were dolphins, and we could see their dorsal fins. Then, out of nowhere, this thing just jumps out of the water.”

Maybe the dolphin knew what was going on?

“The dolphin actually jumped twice, but I liked the first jump picture best,” Dan said.

Despite the fact that Courtland appears to be a dolphin whisperer, Angelina and Dan won’t be changing his name. Dan affirmed, “No, we’re not changing his name to Dolph Finn, as some have suggested.”
